A fun game of spot the difference between these bags of Morrison's carrots. They both weigh the same. They both cost the same. The carrots inside both bags look remarkably similar. So if anyone is more inclined to buy carrots because they colour of the bag changes and they are described as 'chunky carrots' as opposed to just 'carrots' then I pity you. I would love to know if such marketing gimmicks actually work.

Went with Sarah to see Gravenhurst today. We were happily sat in our usual position when a girls comes and asks for the table so she could sell murchendise. We were quite happy to let her have the table but it transpired that she wasnted us to move as she absolutely had to sell stuff on that very spot. For good reasons I can't go into here we deslined. The women didn't appear well anyway and then ran outside to vomit. After watching all the support acts she came on stage and announced that Gravanhurst had to pull out due to illness. For a brief moment both my self and Sarah through she was going to say it was cancelled as we wouldn't lett her sell merchendise.

This weekend was Psychocon in Leeds. An annual gaming convention I go to in addidtion to the other gaming. It's also the home of my annual Diplomacy game. Diplomacy is a game of pure negotiation. There is no element of random chance except the country you are being allocated. Two years ago I played France and finished on 2 supply centers. Last year I drew Germany and finished on 1. This year my objective was to finish on 3 or more. I did allot better than I expecting after drawing France again and finished on 8 Centers. This game me 2nd place. One day I will win a game o diplomacy in a face to face setting. Although it appears not yet. I was also disqualifed from the final of the Silly Drive for admiting to have read the rules to Looping Louie.

Further in my breadmaking adventures I today followed a recipi for 'Georgian Khachapuri'. Whilst they do tast very nice i'm not sure the effort involved and the cost of cheese to stuck them is worth it. There is a recipi in the book I have for home made crumpets. That is high up on my list of things to make.

My 'Meeple' T-shirt arrived today. A 'Meeple' is a portmanteau of 'mini people' and they are an icon of modern gaming. This is design of meeple is best known from teh board game Carcassonne. What I didn't take into consideration when ordering the t-shirt from a US site was that an American medium is larger than a british one.
