I had a good weekend this weekend after a fairly shit birthday week. My birthdays are always bad and bad things happen. So after having a bit a of a over-quarter century crisis about where I am in life I decided I would make the effort to go out more. So Friday I went out and danced for first time in ages. In club found a badge saying 'Kylie Minoise' I've no idea what it meant but I stole it anyway.

Saturday I got take away and walk around with Sarah. we ended up at a Squat having an eviction party. I'd been playing games all day and tried to talk Sarah in paper scissors stone. One of teh evictees suggested Jenna with the breeze blocks. Chatting the bloke was interesting. despite being evicted he seemed to bee looking forward to find another space to live and make his own. So despite having no certainty in his life abotu where he would be living he seemed to be content with his lot. And to think I spent the week moaning about breaking up.........

I know that in recent years Love Hearts have modernised with such romantic messages as 'text me' and 'fax me' but I was a little confused to find the following in a packet. If anyone can think of a set of circumstances when you would want to give a loved one a message saying 'Just Say No' the please inform me.

Today is a sad day. It is quite possibly the last time I will be able to buy a young persons rail card. I've been without one for a Month so I could buy it as close as possible to my 26th birthday this week. Maybe it's a sign I'm getting old and stuff. But at the same time there was a reminder that being old ain't such a bad thing. As I went into the photo booth as Leeds Station it said it was printing a photo. I couldn't see anybody waiting for it. When It came out the bottom Some mad who appeared to be in his 40's had taken one of those 'fun' photos with himself and the 'band' Mcfly. As far as I'm concerned there are two ways of looking at this. Either I should praise the man for thinking he's never to young to photograph himself with Mcfly or think there comes a point when you need to act your age and not your shoe size. As I sat in there waiting for my photo to develop I spied the man outside. He was dressed in a suit and carrying a briefcase. I tried to workout why this man had gone into Leeds station and taken such a photograph of himself. As I left the booth he stepped in. I watched a while from a distance and it appeared he sat in there for a while. Not sure what photo he was taking, if any. When I got home a housemate chastised me for not stealing the photo. I think it would have illustrated this tale better than a photo of my own new railcard.
